A Simple Guide to Making The Most Of Spotify
Most of us have used Spotify. It is the world's top music streaming service. Second to Deezer. However, despite this, there are tonnes of tricks and tips most people don't even know! You can use these handy little tricks to make your Spotify experience even better, and unlock Spotify's true potential! First up, I am sure you all have TONNES of playlists. Often these are listed one after other on the sidebar. This side-bar of playlist seems to go on forever. This means a lot of your playlists and favourite songs, get stuck in a sea of buried, hard to find music. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack! But you can actually organise your playlists into groups! It's actually really easy to do! In the Spotify desktop head to File, New Playlist Folder or use the shortcut Control + Shift + N to make a new group. It really is that simple! This is a great step to easily organise your cluttered sea of Spotify playlists. Within Spotify, the service actually has its own apps! 'App finder' can be found in the left-hand bar. There really are some great hidden gems in this section. All the apps are designed to help you find new music, tastes e.t.c. Apps like 'Moodagent'. Moodagent lets you pick the mood you are in, and it will then create a playlist that goes along with it. Furthermore, 'TuneWiki' will sync lyrics with the song you are listening to. (Anybody up for some karaoke?!) Do you and your friends share similar tastes in music? Are you are looking for a way to combine all your songs together, a way that allows you to all listen to the same playlist? Spotify has a cool feature in line for you! Collaborate is the name of that mysterious '...' button that none of us knows the meaning behind. Clicking this button allows you to started setting up a collaborative playlist that all members can add to or listen to. One that all members can listen to and contribute to. Have you ever accidentally deleted a great playlist? There is a solution for that too! Log into your online Spotify account and selected the 'Recover playlists' option. 'Spotify Radio' is the last handy feature we're going to talk about today. Some days you just don't know what you want to listen to, maybe you've run out of inspiration. When that happens to you, select “Radio” from the left-hand panel, hit “Create a new station” and pick an artist, album, or playlist that you like. Spotify will then pick other, similar tracks from its library to play. Bam, an inspirationless day just became inspired! I hope you found out something new today! Happy listening guys!
We are all psyched about the new release of Ghostbusters staring the amazing and hilarious Melissa McCarthy! The movie was released on the 11th of July in the UK. Later on it was released on the 15th of July in the United States. Now that we have all had a bit of time to go see the film, we though it was time to let you in on some of the trivia! The behind the scenes sneak peak, the fandom fuel, the celerity and tech gossip! We have got this all in store for you guys in this post!
So, what is behind the 1 hour 56 minutes of screen time and an estimated budget of $144,000,000? Well first up! You know that great new headquarters the girls have got? That is not a man made set, it's a real location. That's right, take a trip to 1 Harrison Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts and you can see the new ghostbuster headquarters for yourself! (spooky right?) And that creepy guy, Rowan, who possesses Melissa McCarthy's character. He appeares to have access to her memories. We can infer this because he knew the identity of the other Ghostbusters. However, in a later scene, Rowan claims to not have known Kevin's name (the sexy receptionist who's body he is inhabiting at the time) until it is mentioned to him. (I know what your thinking. Who could have forgot that guys' name?! ) Continuity is apparently not continuous in this film! Throughout the film there is a parking lot next to the ghost busters head quarters ........ except for in one scene! Watch Carefully! Just a little cross entertainment link: the hotel the ghosts appear at is the same hotel used in the TV series American Horror Story. I REALLY wouldn't want to stay there! Love a bit of Emma Stone? Well, she wasn't so keen on this project. The actress turned down a contract to play one of these ghost busting girls. Which girl, we don't know! All that we know is that her refusal was due to her reluctance to take on another series of films after the Amazing Spiderman series. Other actors considered for a role by director Paul Feig included Jennifer Lawrence and Rebel Wilson. Wooaaahhh that's allot! And those are only the things we have time for today! I bet you guys didn't know all of that! We all love a bit of trivia, so if you want great behind the scene facts on other movies keep up to date with us here.
Hello friends, fans, and family,
The Fire Hawk here, ya know me?! Isaac (Fire Hawk) Middleton baby! Hahaha, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to check me out. If you have been following me on my face book page then you know that I am looking for representation in acting. I came across some awesome companies whom I would love to be a part of. I have submitted numerous amount of application submissions in hopes that one of these awesome companies would represent me. (Hope) Now I know that my work is not over once I get representation, of course I know that. I will continue to work hard and try to get jobs on my own but it always helps to have an awesome team to support me in this effort. I am just imagining right now because I don't have representation yet but I am thinking positive and I believe that I will find an awesome company to represent me. It is a lot of hard work and dedication and I just know that I have what it takes. Also, thanks to you all who support me and give me encouragement I am really happy for that as well. Someone once mentioned that if I am the Fire Hawk then they are the Fire Hawk Nation, I thought this was awesome. That made me feel really good and thank you for that my friend. (Faith) I have seen a lot of actors give up on there dream and throw in the towel. The sad part in all of this is that they don't even try. I remembered something that Terry Crews said when he was talking to his face book fans, yes, I like Terry Crews, he is awesome. He mentioned about NEVER GIVING UP and giving it all you got. I never forgot those words of encouragement. In addition to the awesome Terry Crews a lot of friends of mine also ask me if I had given up and at the time I was in the process of doing just that so those words of encouragement came at the right time. My friends, my family and my fans also encouraged me. I have one notable fan and I am happy to have that person as my fan. Thank you all for believing in me. I cherish each and everyone of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much. You all are awesome. I know that it sounds like I think that I have already made it but please understand that I am expressing that attitude that I believe that I need to be successful. I believe that I must believe in myself and you and God to be successful. Not to mention, give credit and honor where it is due, namely God and you all. I want to say some words of encouragement to you all. Peruse your dreams, whether it is being the next MMA champion or the next Mayor and/or whatever you decide. You might have to go to school for it and/or do another class and/or travel a bit. I believe in you. You can do it. I have failed many times over, and if it was not for someone pushing me on and saying that I can do it and telling me not to give up and telling me never give up I would have given up along time ago. So, I say to you my friends, fans, and family, don't ever give up. You can do it. Don't get me wrong I know that I have a very long way to go but I am trying to describe an attitude that you need to succeed, with honor, respect and courage, not to mention commitment, discipline and determination. I am a Christian so I always, always, always include God in all that I do. Thank you again y'all. You all are awesome and I am happy to have you all supporting me as I endeavor to be awesome in acting and entertainment. I have hit many pit falls over the years and even homelessness for a time but I push on and I give that credit to God and to you all my friends, fans, and family. Thank you so much. I will continue to try and to keep you all posted on how my quest is going and when I land that job and so on you best believe that I am going to celebrate and I will try to include as many of you as I can. Even if is it just in snap chat, something that I just learned about, hahaha, and/or face book and I am also going to update my Myspace.com page as well. Enjoy your day and have a great rest of your week. I must say again, thank you! (Love)

Summer is slowly creeping by. And before it ends what better activity to do on a warm summers night, than an open air movie night with all your friends and family! Down below we've got some step by step ideas for planning your perfect night.
PRE-EVENT: The first step to any movie night is obvious! Pick a movie! Do you want something classic and nostalgic or something newly released, cool and cutting edge Decide on your theme for the night! Once you've got a movie it's time to send out the invites!! Decide on the number of attendees for your event (sounds very posh!). If you have a small back garden perhaps limit your VIP guest list to 15 people. If you have a larger garden by all means, go all out and invite as many as you can fit or feel you can cope with! The more the merrier! More people creates a great movie theatre like atmosphere. SETTING UP YOUR EVENT: You could haul a massive flat screen TV out in to the garden. However, movie nights are way more atmospheric if you can get hold of a projector. Ask around and see if any one you know has one you can borrow, because your movie night will be all the more amazing for it! As an accessory to the projector, a simple white cloth pinned to or hung over a fence or wall creates a great movie screen. Once you've set up the technical logistics of the movie projection, it's all about making your garden homely and cosy! THIS is your atmosphere, so if you can, really go to town on this! You want somewhere people will feel really comfortable watching a film for a couple of hours, no matter if they have a drink in their hand, or a sleepy but wide eyed watching child in their arms. For seating put out lots of bean bags, cushions, blankets, and some comfy padded chair for those who can't get down to sit on the floor. Blankets are also really great for an extra comfort factor. They allow people to cuddle up and couples to snuggle etc (I know gross right! But couples like that sort of thing at movies!) If you want to add another great touch to your movie night, perhaps purchase a chalk board movie sign and put it in a place where it will be seen. Write on it the name of the film and the showing time. This way guest can see when to expect the movie and plan things like getting food e.t.c around it. Finally, CONCESSIONS! Everyones favourite bit! These can be done really simply. Just set up a table, make some popcorn in bulk and put some HUGE buckets/ bowls of it on the table. Get some cute brown paper bag for people to scoop it into. Also set out some little shakers with different toppings in so that people can add their favourite. Drinks can be bought at the store and set out on their own table. If you want some super awesome cups a little trick is to put one plastic cup inside the other..... with a glow stick curled up in between. This means your cups now glow in the dark! A cool effect for your movie night! I hope you enjoyed this article. Keep following guys and have fun with your summer nights!
1) HOUSE:
Hugh Laurie stars as House, the teaching hospital's secret weapon. Unexplained illnesses and ridiculous and interesting medical complaints all find their way to Houses diagnostics department. To find the answers to these crazy medical mysteries the diagnostic team often go to the patients homes to investigate (really not advisable - this isn't the bit we can learn from!). The show follows a very predictable format in each episode, BUT.... the medical information and the depth of the characters and their relationships in this show make it a truly wonderful and educational experience! Aside from general medical knowledge, Hugh Laurie's character in particular, allows us to learn about addiction, chronic pain and his own, but often self-denied people skills and social issues. This is perhaps why in 2008 House was the most watched TV show around the world. 2) MYTHBUSTERS This comical but highly scientific TV program sees the Mythbuster's team testing ... you guessed it! Myths! They do this to see if they are in fact, true of false. The program is highly educational and supposedly supplies as much fun watching the presenters trying to set up experiments as factual knowledge! 3) TIME WARP Continuing with the scientific theme, Time warp show events such as bubbles popping in slow motion! Weird, until you realise the point behind it. The idea is that it allows the presenters to slow down, and actually show and explain the scientific process happening that would normally take place too quickly to see in the real world. 4) ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK OK, SO THIS IS NOT A SHOW YOU WOULD EXPECT TO LEARN FROM. But this show tackles some real social issues. Ones that were not talked about much in mainstream TV until Orange Is The New Black came out. To see a movie about lesbians, you would have had to search for dodgy underfunded and low scale promoted movies in a 'gay' category on a dark corner of the web. But not any more this highly recognizable series puts same sex relationships in the spot light. Prison culture and that idea that prisoners are not just criminals, but people with lives, emotions and back stories are also things that are hugely represented in this series. Who knew from a chic flick series you could learn so much! 5) CBS SPORTS NETWORK Again not an obvious candidate! However, watching not just CBS Sports Network, but sport and commentary in general, is really meant to be great for your health and social skills! So, even if you're not keen on sports, but are a bit socially anxious, watching a quick round up of a game could give you the common talking material needed to strike up those conversations with people. For those who really are interested in sports, regular viewing can apparently help subconsciously with your own sporting skills, motivation and frame of mind. Want to know more about this? Look up the psychology of social learning theory guys (the idea we learn behaviors and actions through imitation)!
If you are celebrating a birthday this month of August, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
