The JB&I Show Podcast

Hello friends, fans, and family. It is good to be here again. Thank you for being here as well. The JB&I Show debuted on YouTube two years ago now. We started out slow and some would say that we grew too fast but I don't agree. The JB&I Show started out as something fun to do and we also got to entertain people as we tell them about the different events, movies and so on. I did the first broadcast and edited it and I di sound and all of that. It took way longer than I care to admit to do and to edit. Compound that with my school and work schedules it was almost more than I could bare. But, some how I was able to get it done.  Personally I give all credit and thanks to God. 

Later, as time passed Ray came on board and became a co-host of the JB&I Show. We would cover everything from books to pc game and even local events. This was a high point of the show that I will never forget. We seemed to be as high as we would ever get and than Oam joined the cast and we went even higher. All of this was no pay but if someone was to come in from the outside they would not have known that because of the effort and dedication that we all put into it. I did forget to mention one person who was around helping out even before Ray and that is Jack Phillips. 

Jack Phillips is an awesome writer and he proved this by putting out an awesome professionally published book, Off The Deep End. I was more than just a little happy to have Jack join our ranks. With this all star cast we put on show after show. Conducting interviews and even on location cast. The JB&I Show is an asset to the county and in media. As we neared the end of the year in 2016 it became harder and harder to produce a show because of all of our schedules. Finally deciding to go into an hiatus period and come back after finals and after the New Year.

We lost a few people due to moving on into there various careers. But the show must go on... right?! Yes, of course. It must go on. I sat down and made out a plan and a back up plan just incase my first plan failed. The first plan seemed simple enough and that was to enjoy the Holidays and bring the JB&I Show back in February 2017. The other supporting idea was to get sponsors to offset the cost and higher replacements for those who have moved on. Potentially we had some candidates line up. However, in the final phases of the process we los our sponsors. This put a great burden on the producer, me, haha. So, I had to decide what I was going to do. I told that cast and crew of the lost and ask them what they wanted to do. They answered as they should and we parted ways.  No ground and no heartache because of there decision.  I respect them and there decision and I may have made the same dedication in there shoes. 

So, the questions still remains, what to do. I could let the show die and leave it alone and just forget about it or I could try again and on a smaller scale. This is what I decided, do continue the show with me as the host, crew, editor, and all of that. Yeah, I got skills. Allow Jack to help me in the writing so that I will not burn myself out. Focus on getting the JB&I Show back out there and maybe even bigger than before. But where to start is the question that I asked myself. So, I decided to do a Podcast and a video show. This would increase our chances of being seen and creating an audience for the show. I decided to give it one more year more or less. 

I believe that the JB&I Show can be self sustaining. I am going to work as hard as I can on it and I set it so that it is just once per month so that I will not burn myself out. I do enjoy presenting and being a host and I also enjoy editing and creating but if I could I would higher a crew and cast. Until I get to that point and going to push forward and produce awesome content and great episode of the JB&I Show video and Podcast. Enjoy and feel free to leave your feed back. 


I am going to close with. We all are looking for that one thing that will allow us to give our all in that thing. It may be one thing or it maybe a few things but I believe that all of us have the potential to be better. Sometimes, we talk our selves out of something because it is new and it is something that we never done before. We are our own worst enemies. Be encouraged and stay motivated.
