The Black Panther Movie

Hello friends, fans and family,
I love watching movies and awesome tv shows. So, when I got a chance to see my favorite superheroes on tv and/or the big screen you can imagine my excitement. Now admittedly, some movies did not measure up to it's hype but I still enjoyed seeing them on TV and in the theaters. Being an actor myself one of my dreams is to be in a Marvel movie. I know that I am older now but I keep in good shape and I am more seasoned as an actor, and I am still hoping, hahaha. Now that I am with Hollywood Original Talent and able to travel I am game for any good production. But my dream will always be, to be, in a Marvel production as an actor. I am over joyed to see that they are finally doing a big production concerning Black Panther. I was always hoping that they would. I am also thrilled that new actors are finally getting a chance to shine. Acting is an ageless career just as long as you are willing to do it. Being older myself this is a plus for me and I am more than willing to work very hard to support whatever production that I am apart of. I am also happy to see that young actors are getting a chance to shine as well. Sometimes I do feel like I am at a disadvantage because of my age of being an older actor. But, at the end of the day if and when I get a chance to prove myself I am going to shine. :)  They are so many Marvel movies coming out in the next few years and it is going to be awesome!

You must get ready for Spiderman as well. It looks like it is going to be great! Not to mention, Thor Ragnarok, and Guardians of the Galaxy volume two.  

Another of the movies that are coming out is the Black Panther. Black Panther has been a stand alone comic book for many years now. But most people know of the Black Panther through the Avengers either through the comics and/or the cartoons. Either way the Black Panther is an awesome Character. I was just waiting for this movie. I have read the comics and I have seen the cartoons and they are many different takes on the Black Panther. Most of the cartoons that includes the Black Panther surrounds the Avengers. This is still good because I think that some exposure is better than nothing. Honestly, growing up I was really looking to see how can I fit in this Super Hero World of acting.  Even from a very young age I wondered how I fit in this arena of awesome super heroes and the actors that brought them to life weather it be in the movies and/or the tv shows. I wanted to be Superman, Batman, the Flash, the Green Lantern, and even Aquaman but I mean, who did not want to be one of these outstanding super heroes at some point in there childhood, hahaha.

But truth be told as I went out to seek roles I realized that I just did not fit what most of the heroes were, honestly. So, I was eliminated not because of my acting ability but because I was not Superman, Batman, Aquaman, the flash and so on. Over time a lot has changed but now I am told that I am too old to be these heroes and I understand that I am not going to be some of these heroes but when I saw the Black Panther and the variety of roles that I could do. I was over joyed that I found a place for me in this Hero's Universe. It is hard to explain how important it is to really be able to see yourself as this character. Not just okay, I dreamed that I was superman and all that but I can really be this dude, the Black Panther, and such. The acting industry is hard enough as it is with becoming union and finding work and getting oneself out there and improving. Then add on to that all of the negativity and jealousy and lack of opportunities, and limited roles many people leave the business of acting all together. I say all of that so that everyone can appreciate and understand all of the hard work that goes into acting. I have two college degrees and I have an opportunity to be an actor so I thank God every day. Some other actors may enjoy being Villains and the bad guy and may God bless them, they are awesome for having such an excellent drive. I am not saying that I would not enjoy being in a role of a villain but being a super hero is a childhood dream of mine. They are many heroes out there in the Marvel Universe that Marvel could have done a stand alone movie with. So, I am very grateful that chose to do the Black Panther. 

The Black Panther release date in the States as of right now is: 02/16/2018, and I am expecting it to be great. I am a non-union actor and I am doing my best to become union and get good enough so that I can be in a Marvel movie (even as a villain). I am not going to be in the Black Panther movie but they are a lot of awesome actors and actresses that are going to be in the movie. Well, just to name a few; the legendary Angela Bassett, the outstanding Forest Whitaker, Chad Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Danai Gurira. The Director is: Ryan Cooglar, he has done such films as; Creed and Fugitive Station. This is a Marvel Production so I am expecting it to be nothing less than awesome! They have put so much work into this film I am praying for its success. As an actor I know that it is not easy and that some days there is just nothing left in the tank because I have put it all in. I really and truly believe that this is going to be a great movie, I encourage everyone to see it. They are some other movies that are going to be coming out before the Black Panther and you should go and see those as well. The Black Panther does not come out until next year but I think that it is worth the wait. 

I am going to conclude with, we are an awesome people. Every American, every person, every body, we are a great people. We all have talents that we enjoy and use daily. If we are blessed enough to be able to use these skills to improve someone's day in some way shape or form then that gift did not go to waste.
