The Battle of the Isaac Ms

Hello friends, fans, and family, 
I never like talking bad about anyone and I am going to start now. However, I am going to mention the issues that I am having with another Isaac M. His name is Isaac Mondo and he is from France. I initially was not aware of his existence. He is in a different country than me so I had no reason to seek him out. I distribute through CD Baby and I work well with them and I recommend them to any artist, however, things do get crossed from time to time especially when to groups of people has the same name even if they are from different countries.  This is what happened with us and it is an easy fix. He contacts his distribution company and I contact CD Baby and point out the songs that are not mine and the ones that are mine. Which is what I did when it was brought to my attention by Isaac Mondo. CD Baby said that they would fix the issue and that there is nothing to worry about. I said, okay cool and I let Isaac Mondo know of this. 

He contacted me again later asking me to change my name. I said, no. I have a lot invested into my name and I am not going to change my name. I told him that I would drop the period from my name because at the time we both had the stage name "Isaac M." So, I said that I would drop the period from my name that way that there is some separation in our names. I reassured him that I was not getting any of his royalties because I was not getting any of his royalties. I never gotten any royalties from his products, I checked often because I did not want to get any thing of his that should go to him. I never got anything that should go to him. After this I didn't hear anything else from him. I noticed that his music was eventually moved from my pages across all platforms and I was relieved because I thought that it was over. 

It was not over I don't know how he did it but I can surmise as to why he did but what he did was to claim my music as his own. This is more than just petty it is straight out wrong. He claims himself to be a child of God as this is catalogue. For a fellow Christian to do such a thing is tasteless and mean. So, I had not choice but to reach out to him and ask him to reverse whatever he had done and to return my products back to me. I said, that you can say that it was a mistake or whatever but I expect my products to be returned to me. I got no response from him. After about a week I decided to take action. I started reaching out to all of the platforms that I knew that he had my music on it and I reported it. Allowing the platform to know that he had stolen products on there platforms and potentially getting profit from my products that he stole from me. I don't know how he did it or why really other than his own pettiness. I lost my music on YouTube Spotify and almost all other digital platforms. I even lost subscribers on YouTube. I have an active marketing campaign for several of my website and products that are on YouTube, and other digital platforms. I don't even know what he is telling people or how he is justifying his actions against me but I cannot allow this. 

I did not think that in this day and age that things like this would still happen and to the degree that it happens. I hear some of the horror stories but to have it actually happen to me, I am in awe. Let me know of your thought about this and Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you all.
