Let's Talk About The Woman King & More

Hello friends, fans and members, 
I hope that your day is going well. I greet you in this glorious day of our Lord. This segment is about the Woman King - Viola David. A lot of people say that the movie promote an anti-men and anti-relationship thing in the movie. I disagree. A lot of people has been just hating on the movie. When the movie has gotten a 94% in Rotten Tomatoes, 6.7 of 10 in IMDB and 8 of 10 in IGN. So, clearly the people has spoken. And I agree, there is nothing of that sort outside of the primes of the movie. As a matter of fact people like the movie so much some has watched the movie more than three times. 

         The Movie was directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood she also directed Love & Basketball, Disappearing Acts and the Secret Life of Bees just to name a few. Even though the movie was inspired by true events the movie is not a documentary. So, it is heavily fictionalized and dramatized. With that being said, I want to mention the amount of people pointing out that the movie did not follow actual historical events. Ah, of course it did not, even though the frame work is true the rest is heavily fictional. So, if you go to see this movie to enjoy it, you will enjoy the Woman King, a lot. 

The Woman King is distributed by, Sony Pictures and Tristar Pictures. Their Budget was $50 million to make. That is a really good budget and I think that they did well in making this most excellent movie. This movie was produced by, Viola Davis, Julius Tennon, Cathy Schulman and Maria Bello. So, a lot of people believed in the movie to invest their hard earn money into it. The Woman King was released state side in Sept 16, 2022. Before its release date a lot of people was hoping that the movie did not do well... really?! However, it did very well, extremely well in fact. I for one am happy to see it do so well. I have always been a big fan of Viola Davis and the energy and work that she brings to the table.

The other movie that I am going to mention is Black Panther. After the death of Chadwick Bosman a lot of people thought that the franchise was dead, I mean, they lost there main star... to actual death. How can you recover from that?! But some how they did. They were able to bounce back and come up with a storyline that  I think everyone will enjoy and appreciate. I can go on and on about who is taking up the mantle of the Black Panther, protector of Wakanda and how awesome that is but I am just going to say, it is going to be magnificent. I have seen both trailers and wow, even the trailers brought me to tears and joy in a two min time frame. I am in awe at the effort that they put into this movie. I am expecting great things and I believe that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will deliver. The release date as of the writing of this blog is:  11-Nov-2022. Sitting on pins and needles waiting on this highly anticipated movie.
