Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell are set to reunite on screen in the upcoming horror-comedy “Kenan & Kel Meet Frankenstein.” The film’s title pays homage to the classic “Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein,” while promising its own modern spin on the genre.
The story follows Thompson and Mitchell as two delivery drivers whose routine shift takes a sinister turn. When an ordinary drop-off brings them to a mysterious castle, they inadvertently awaken Frankenstein’s monster. What begins as a simple delivery quickly escalates into a frantic struggle for survival, as the pair are thrust into a series of chaotic and comedic encounters. This project marks the duo’s second foray into horror-comedy, following their appearance in Nickelodeon’s cult favorite “Two Heads Are Better Than None,” which served as the finale to their beloved sitcom “Kenan & Kel.” It will also be their first film collaboration since the release of “Good Burger 2” in 2023. Producer John Ryan Jr. describes the film as “First it was Abbott and Costello, then Pryor and Wilder. Now, Kenan and Kel. Imagine ‘Shaun of the Dead’ crossed with ‘Scooby-Doo.’” With its blend of nostalgia and contemporary humor, “Kenan & Kel Meet Frankenstein” aims to offer a fresh comedic take on the monster movie tradition. Dear friends, supporters, and family,
Thank you. Your encouragement, your enthusiasm, and your belief in us have meant more than words can express. If you’re reading this, please know how deeply we appreciate you. It is with a heavy heart that I share this news: IME iRadio Station will be closing its doors for good. This was our second attempt, and while we launched with hope, energy, and a detailed business plan, the outcome wasn’t what we envisioned. After six months of dedicated effort and ongoing review, we realized we couldn’t turn things around. We set out to bring you the best in indie and top 40 music from around the world. Despite our relentless work, we struggled to secure the indie tracks we dreamed of, and we didn’t build the audience we needed. Rising costs ultimately made it impossible to continue. We’re not here to point fingers or assign blame. Sometimes, even with the best intentions and the hardest work, things don’t go as planned. That’s the reality of small business—painful, yes, but honest. Still, I am grateful for every moment of this journey. To those who reached out and asked about us—thank you for caring. Our time on air was brief, but your curiosity and support were a bright spot. And if you purchased a t-shirt, sticker, or pen, I hope it serves as proof and a reminder that we existed and of an internet radio station that, even for a short while, delivered on its promise. We’re not disappearing. You can still find us on YouTube, and we’re already working on new projects—big ideas, fresh perspectives, and new goals. Every setback teaches us something, and we’re taking those lessons with us as we move forward into the new year. Thank you again, sincerely, for everything. Wishing you all the best, always. Isaac Middleton CEO, IME Hey there, amazing people! 🌟
You know what? I've been sitting here thinking about how incredibly lucky I am to have all of you in my corner. I know I've been a bit of a ghost lately (social media is hard, right?), but every like, comment, and message means the world to me. Speaking of which... how's everyone enjoying this holiday? I keep hearing people joke about needing a vacation from their vacation – you know, that thing where we somehow turn relaxation into another job? (Guilty as charged!) Let's make a pact: today, we're all going to actually chill. No to-do lists. No "productive" relaxation. Just pure, unfiltered downtime. Before I go back to my coffee and definitely-not-checking-emails morning, here's a gentle reminder: life moves pretty fast. Sometimes the best thing we can do is just pause and take it all in. Maybe even literally stop to smell some roses or some flowers, they're blooming like crazy right now! And if not finding some to smell can be fun too, haha. If I missed any holidays up till now, please, blame it on my mind and not my heart. Have a great rest of your day and enjoy this holiday season. You are awesome! Welcome to 2026! Catch you all soon (and this time I mean it!) Enjoy your day and have a wonderful and great New Year!!! ✨ |
